Over the last number of years, as we have been dreaming of this middle school, we have been fortunate to have built a strong relationship with a committed family that believes in our school, the unique value we bring to the Downtown Jewish community and the opportunity to make an impact by growing Paul Penna Downtown Jewish Day School to include a middle school.
As we begin a new year, this visionary family has made an unparalleled donation in support of the middle school vision. This cornerstone gift enables Paul Penna DJDS to launch a fundraising campaign to inspire other special gifts and allow everyone a place to make an impact.
We are humbled and proud to announce that Paul Penna DJDS has received a one million dollar cornerstone gift to launch and lead a Middle School campaign. This remarkable support allows our Middle School to move forward, and provides additional financial support and security in the first few years of our blossoming program.
We are grateful for the trust and support that has been placed with us, and we are confident that should the Board decide to move forward with this middle school vision, we will do so with financial security that will grow and protect our school and inspire additional community support.
