The daily student experience stretches well beyond the classroom. From JK to Grade 8, children have multiple opportunities each year to engage in special events and programs that enrich school life. These activities provide the chance to meet students in other grades and become further immersed in the dynamic and exceptional community at Paul Penna DJDS.

A wide ranging and comprehensive student services and resource department is a key part of the DJDS experience focusing on prioritizing and serving the individual needs of each child.

Student Wellness
Our student wellness department prioritizes work on social-emotional well-being with an additional focus on sensory-friendly environments and universal design for learning. We are proud to have an expert team of a Senior Social Worker and Child and Youth Worker who support student wellness at all ages and stages.
