Alicia is a senior communications and public affairs professional who owns and operates Kinetic Motions. Kinetic Motions is both a strategic communications consulting firm as well as a blog where she shares her daily musings. Alicia consults with companies of all sizes to help them develop a communications strategy, build their reputation in the community and create a brand.

Alicia received a Master of Arts in Journalism from New York University and a Bachelor of Science from the University of Toronto and has worked as a journalist at ABC Radio in New York and CHUM radio and Rogers Sportsnet in Toronto. She was the Director of Communications at Sears Canada and the Executive Director of the Sears Canada Charitable Foundation, and also spent a number of years as the Associate Director of Communications at the Canada-Israel Committee, a national advocacy organization that represented Canada’s Jewish community on all matters pertaining to the Canada-Israel relationship. Alicia and her husband, David, are the parents of Matthew in grade 5 and Julia in Grade 2, both at Paul Penna DJDS, and baby Nessa, who will be in SK in 2021.  When Alicia is not leading recruitment and retention activities at Paul Penna DJDS, she loves skiing or watching baseball with her kids, traveling, cooking and writing.
