Welcome to Paul Penna Downtown Jewish Day School! Founded in 1998 to address the growing need for Jewish educational alternatives in downtown Toronto, we are committed
to academic excellence in a dynamic environment. Building upon and surpassing the core skills and knowledge outlined by the Ontario Ministry of Education, our SK to Grade 8 integrated curriculum weaves together the Jewish and general facets of children’s lives to develop a meaningful Jewish identity.

Through a rich academic program, an arts enhanced approach and a commitment to social justice, students grow to be responsible citizens and compassionate, confident individuals. We embrace the values of equality and diversity, where students of all Jewish backgrounds are fully accepted members of our community.
